Creation... Part 1

I am on a personal journey to understand my own existence and it has led to some interesting questions on why earth exists and why we, as humans exist in the first place. There are so many theories that exist about the creation of this earth, so many conflicts that arise questioning creation. Frankly, any answers won't put food on my table and writing anything about this shall stir a few unnecessary pots.

From the get-go, I believe the Bible is the template to start with. And the first words of the Bible are the same in every translation, "In the beginning God created". That means God existed before the creation. The statement cleverly leaves no room to ask where God existed before, His age, His demeanor; and neither is it within our scope to hypothesize. It's matter of fact, He existed and started the process by speaking our universe into existence. It is a fact that for the Big-Bang to start, something had to trigger it. To assume it was just a fluke feels naïve because the resultant perfection we live in wouldn't make sense. I liked the technical opinion given by this physicist about God's existence. In another analogy explaining how God created the heavens and the earth, one could look at the fact that someone created the laptop I'm using and built it. Once built it works amazingly to deliver all I require, but it doesnt have someone in it. The creator gave it it's operating parameters and it works perfectly to the specifications set by the human creator. Magnify that image to the earth and the universe...

It's undeniable to me, God created the heavens and the earth. Rockets fly to space almost weekly now, with spectacular displays of ingenuity to return to earth ready for the next flight. They launch satellites that revolve around the earth, showing us beautiful images of our earth and the heavens that surround us. They operate our GPS with increasing precision, advise our weather forecasts, manage our telecommunications and so much more. The Hubble telescope is my favorite satellite, launched for man to see into the heavens in 1990 and photographing those regions we cannot fathom to reach, the milky-way. The Hubble telescopes launch, it's optical errors and finally it's repair were displays of absolute tenaciousness by man, but the results it has produced until today are even more amazing. Every day, we learn more about the heavens and God's creation formula. Everything in the cosmos was formed in all its parts to support life here on earth. Without everything spinning at its exact axis, at its exact speeds and at its exact location, the heavens and the earth would not exist. It is so exact that mathematicians and astronomers since the early ages of man's existence, can determine past and future astrology events to the second. Scientists can send satellites and drones to Mars or the International Space Station and they'll land the vehicle at an exact location on an exact day and time. Time, space and matter are so finely tuned. In fact, I recently bumped into this video that best describes how fascinating this universe is

On closer observation, there is a very common thread to God's creation method. All of His creation (the universe) is constantly moving, at a precise and unchanging pace. Nothing pauses. Nothing changes course. Nothing crashes into another. Everything in the universe is precisely set to unendingly spin or move. Every planet or star is precisely moving in a direction that positively or negatively impacts and influences others. It's one ginormous equation of motion set against a black nothingness of space. How amazing is that? The earth itself, spins at 23.4 degrees for 23 hours and 56 minutes without fail, to form a day around the sun. We as humans are created to survive on an earth spinning at 460 meters per second and we don't feel it. No delays, no pause and that influences our gravity, our air, our weather, our magnetic fields and everything else.

As the major part of God's creation on this earth, and being a fraction of His given spirit, humans also have the privilege of being able to create. Everything we create (whether good or bad) falls into the original creation formula. Humans are constantly discovering, working, creating, building and innovating and that is the ultimate plan for creation. As we learn a new thing, humans create greater things tomorrow.  We are here to be constantly working, creating and innovating. We are here to be constantly moving forward, just like the universe created. Every day as we wake, a new day shall have dawned with an absolute pace. With every new day, we have an opportunity to try again, innovate and create. The past is gone. When we procrastinate, pause or delve in the past, we get left behind by the ultimate formula of God's creation.

Time waits for no-one. For good times or bad, time moves forward at one constant pace. When we seize the moment, speak our plan and act on our plan, by faith in the future, we create new things into existence. It seems and sounds unreal, but it's the creation story. Humans are actually reenacting God's creation words every single day. 7 billion of us on this earth are speaking and creating at every moment, isn't that amazing? The question is, how many of this population speak creation plans, act on them and accept the time, act and sacrifices necessary to actualize the words to become reality. Even if it's as simple as making it to a scheduled meeting on-time.

When a farmer plants seed, he is speaking creation. By planting a dead seed into the ground and giving it the right conditions, they have all-knowing faith that the seed shall germinate, grow and reproduce. Every year without fail, farmers speak the same creation to feed humanity. Noone can explain how a dead seed actually becomes a new plant, we just know how to produce the conditions for it... The actual conception, like human conception is a spiritual anomaly. Beyond our comprehension.

And that is why God is great and this one verse in an entire Bible, packs so so much punch. The ingenious of that first sentence in the Bible cannot be overemphasized as an instruction to live moving forward - without fear. Through good times and bad, we must arise each morning to act-forward, at a constant yet incredibly precise pace, creating with our words and reinforcing those words with our actions. Believing that as we plant, with the right conditions the natural creation formulas shall work for us.
